You must have noticed the A State of Trance characters. They’ve been dominating the artwork of A State of Trance for quite a while now and they are created to represent a feeling. A feeling that is hard to explain in words. A positive feeling that can only be experienced on the A State of Trance events throughout the world with the ASOT characters as example or icon if you will.

The mission this year is to spread love for the music. They will be travelling across our planet to make sure we do so! The whole story is brought down to a short movie. We are really excited about it! Therefore the awesome new trailer to give you the first look and feel of the new mission. Be ready to be part of ‘The Invasion’.

The next single of Armin van Buuren’s ‘Mirage’ album is the beloved, feel-good piece of ‘Youtopia’, featuring the unique vocals of Owl City singer Adam Young!

All the way from Minnesota in the US, a warm sounding male vocal found its way on a track of Armin van Buuren’s fourth artist album ‘Mirage’. The remarkable voice belongs to Adam Young, singer of Owl city, famous for synth-pop tracks like ‘Fireflies’ and ‘Umbrella Beach’. Despite the differences in their music, Armin and Adam took on the challenge to create something that combines the best of both worlds, coming together in ‘Youtopia’. A sparkling, vivid track with a positive vibe that’ll get stuck in your head in no-time.

In 2006, Armin van Buuren and SEAT started working together, with the 2011 SEAT’s Next DJ’s contest as one of many great projects. Young DJ talents were given the opportunity to show their skills, with Renvo as the official winner after an exciting competition. After months of touring, promotional activities and collaborating with W&W on single ‘Breakout’, Renvo won the first prize, playing at the Electronic Family festival in the Amsterdamse Bos on July 30^th.

Dancefoundation is responsible for all multimedia productions in this campaign, including the website, video reports, music videos and the Ibiza Experience.

On July 30, the all new Electronic Family Festival took place in the woods of Amsterdam. Dancefoundation was there to record the official aftermovie.

It was a rainy day on Saturday July 23, but over 20.000 people had a great time at the ‘A day at the park’ festival in the forrest of Amsterdam. Know for it’s unique atmosphere, decorations and performances, rain was just bad luck. The visitors didn’t really seem to care and enjoyed the beats of Dennis Ruyer, Remy, Dennis Ferrer, John Digweed, Housequake and Carl Cox.

Dancefoundation was there to record the official aftermovie.

Dancefoundation filmed and produced the ultimate Ibiza DJ Experience for SEAT’s Next DJ. The two finalists Renvo and DiVasco visited the party island with their special DJ car. Check out the extended report to see the boys perform at the world famous Space venue, do promotional activities for the Be @ Space night, perform at the pre-party in Cafe del Mar, have a meet & greet with Armin van Buuren at a villa and relax on a yacht near Fromentera.

Fierce Angel is the new record and events company from Mark Doyle, the creator of Hed Kandi. Fiercely independent and already picking up critical acclaim worldwide the company is on a mission to provide simply the finest music and the most memorable nights out.

Dancefoundation designed the YouTube channel for Showtek, the world’s #1 hard dance act. The Eindhoven based brothers Wouter and Sjoerd Janssen received numerous awards and perform all over the world. The new YouTube channel matches their identity and website.

SEAT’s Next DJ is a unique collaboration between Armin van Buuren, Armada Music and car manufacturer SEAT, in search for new DJ talent in The Netherlands. Dutch bedroom DJ’s have a chance of showing their skills and have their big breakthrough in the dance scene, with a DJ set at Electronic Family and a single release on the Armada Music label at stake.

Dutch talents were asked to create a 30 minute mix and record it on video, including a short presentation. After the first selection by the jury, 8 semi-finalist were choosen. The 9th candidate was added via a public wildcard voting. Early June, two contestants will be selected, based on the amount of votes and the results of an assignment. These two will win a DJ tour through The Netherlands and a single release.

Public voting is open now, and each voter has a chance of winning one of the 500 prizes, including a meet & greet with Armin van Buuren.

The ultimate battle will take place in July, when Armin and the audience will decide who will be named the winner of SEAT’s Next DJ. The winner will have his/her first gig at Electronic Family, the biggest outdoor trance event in the world, taking place on July 30th in Amsterdam.
