After the worldwide success of ‘Deep Down’, Josh Gabriel’s Winter Kills returns with the hotly anticipated follow up single, ‘My Friend’. Featuring a heartfelt and haunting vocal by icey songstress, Meredith Call, the original mix of ‘My Friend’ is a blog-rock tinged romp that brilliantly explores the madness of a bitter breakup.

The music video was directed by Josh Gabriel himself and edited by Dancefoundation.

On Sunday the first of August 2010 Park de Wezenlanden in Zwolle transformed from a recreational park to a hotspot for dance-, rock- and pop fans. For the first time in the history of the Citymoves festival, rock band Di-Rect was part of the show. Besides these new faces at the festival, DJ’s like Arojack, Quintino, Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano performed at the event. No one less than Armin van Buuren was responsible for the closing of the festival.

Armada Bookings, a new bookings agency set up by record company Armada Music, has kicked off. The agency guides artists in their musical career, within all areas of management. W&W, Tenishia, Myon & Shane 54, DJ Eco, Ørjan Nilsen and Ruben de Ronde are already part of the Armada agency, that’s also responsible for the line-up of the global Armada Night events.

Armada Bookings was set up to stimulate new talent and give producers the chance to develop their DJ career. The DJ’s involved so far all have their share of experience behind the decks and had their tracks and remixes released on one of the Armada Music imprints. The close relationship of Armada Bookings with the record company offers great opportunities for both parties. Armada Music, awarded for ‘Best Global Dance Label’ at the 2009 and 2010 International Dance Music Awards, has a big international network and also organizes their own Armada Nights in various world famous clubs.

Armada Bookings kicks off with 6 strong names. Hungarian duo Myon & Shane 54, known for their many characteristic remixes, tracks and currently holding the 91st position in the DJ Mag Top 100, were one of the first signings to the agency. Other names signed are W&W – whose first booking after signing to Armada Bookings was a gig in Ibiza’s Club Amnesia during Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance night, DJ Eco – known for his melodic and uplifting trance sound, Norwegian producer/DJ Ørjan Nilsen –currently high up the charts with his ‘So Long Radio’, Ruben de Ronde –Armada Night resident, and Tenishia – the Maltese duo that received a Malta Music Award for ‘Best Dance Track’ for their ‘Burning From The Inside’.  Must-see names of the dance scene, all with a promising musical future ahead.

Armin van Buuren is proud to announce a new edition of his ‘Armin Only’.

On November 13^th 2010, fans of the Dutch DJ  will be in the Jaarbeurs venue in Utrecht, where he’ll celebrate the release of his new artist album ‘Mirage’ with a new edition of the ‘Armin Only’ concert. Armin Only 2010 – Mirage will be one of the first shows of a world tour, with at least 15 cities across 5 different continents.

After two sold-out gigs at Rotterdam’s Ahoy venue, Armin first played at the Jaarbeurs in 2008. Nearly 20,000 fans witnessed ‘Imagine’ with a 9-hour DJ set, including live performances by Sharon den Adel, Jacqueline Govaert and several other vocalists. The number one DJ, captain of the critically acclaimed DJ Mag Top 100 for the previous three years, could look back on a successful kick-off to his Armin Only world tour.

With Armada Music’s release of his new album, ‘Mirage’, in September 2010, Armin is once again ready to enthrall the global dance scene with the sound of his album. A little foretaste of what’s in store is the first single, ‘Full Focus’, out now on iTunes .

According to organizer Alda Events, visitors to Armin Only 2010 – Mirage will be treated to an audiovisual spectacle, with various show elements and exciting guest-performances by artists who worked with Armin on the new album.

DJ Jean, a name who left his indelible traces in the contemporary national and international club scene. Well known for his turntable skills, his notoriously rebellious dissolute lifestyle and especially as a dedicated DJ. 
He was also one of the first and very few DJ’s who gained his well earned status of a real Dutch celebrity.
